I went ahead and sketched out a portrait of the character, Polistes from Scarlet O' Beetle. It's important to not that the portrait above is only HALF completed of what would be a full render.

I'm a Creature Artist who loves injecting personality and spunk into the critters I bring to life. As someone who has a deep love for the natural world and living things of all shapes and sizes, I don't believe in a "mindless animal".

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: PILLA the Bestiary was my most recent large scale project. All together it spans a 18pg booklet done in collaboration with PILLA's creator, Rafael Mandonado Badhand. I was given permission to bring a mix of quirky and (mostly) unnerving and scary critters to life within his post apocalyptic world! I've included a few pages from the Bestiary in this grouping of work.

Scarlet O' Beetle sounds incredibly charming and the inclusion of the scientific aspects with the whimsical make me very interested to work on it!!
